Lorain County Real Estate Revaluation

The 2012 (payable 2013) real estate taxes were certified to the Lorain County Treasurer on January 7, 2013.  First half payments were due to the Lorain County Treasurer's Office by February 15, 2013.  The second half collection is tentatively scheduled for July 12.

Important BOard of revision info

The deadline to file a case with the Board of Revision this year was April 1.  Recent decisions by the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals have ruled against property owners who rely upon Tax Compliance Services reports as evidence in their Board of Revision tax appeals.  Click here for more information.
