Carol A. Quimper, 77, Enjoyed Shopping

Photo of Carol A. Quimper Carol A. Quimper, age 77, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday February 10, 2024.

She was born in Lorain and remained a life-long resident of the city.

Carol was a graduate of Lorain High School as well as the St. Joseph Hospital School of Practical Nursing. Her career in nursing spanned nearly four decades with St. Joseph Hospital and Community Health Partners.

Carol was a long-time parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. In her free time she enjoyed shopping trips with her sister and monthly luncheons with her former co-workers. She also liked television and was an avid follower of the series Yellowstone.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa, sister Kathleen Miller (Tom), and a host of nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her son David, parents Steve and Irene (nee Turula) Muska, brothers Richard and Terry Muska, and sister Barbara Flanagan.

Committal services will take place in the Resurrection Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery - 555 North Ridge Road, Lorain at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 15th. Reverend Daniel O. Divis, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church will officiate.
