Venues designed to bring together large gatherings of people to experience a live performance are being hit especially hard by the pandemic. The County Chamber will take the lead in producing a digital directory to act as a "one-stop" location where anyone looking for or looking to do business with businesses that have been historically underrepresented can easily access the information. The directory will include African-American, Hispanic, Women, LGBTQ, Veteran and Agricultural businesses located in Lorain County. The County Chamber will be working with Emerge to develop a database in which this information can be easily utilized. The County Chamber and SBDC are looking to work with the members of the current Business Growth Network of Greater Lorain County, which besides the Chamber and SBDC, also includes the Lorain County Urban League (Website | Profile), El Centro (Profile), Oberlin College (Website | Profile), LCCC Wellington and JumpStart.
