Carol Ann Hatfield, Will Be Dearly Missed

Photo of Carol Ann Hatfield Carol Ann Hatfield passed away peacefully at her home during the early morning hours of Saturday December 30, 2023.

Carol had worked as an STNA and caregiver for many years.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her husband of forty-nine years Frank Hatfield. Additional survivors include sons James (Jackie), Frank (Barbara), and Michael (Tammy), along with grandchildren Cameron, Samantha, Haley, and Landyn Hatfield, Abel Fleming, and great granddaughter Oakley. She also leaves her brother Ronald Leazier, sister Cindy Board, many nieces and nephews, and Carol Jean Friedman whom she considered aunt, sister, and second mother.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother Donna Lee Leazier (nee Saylor), father Jack R. Leazier, dad Sonny Wiemer, mother-in-law Norma Stevens, sister Debra Konieczny, and maternal grandparents Harry and Ethel Saylor.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel – 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will take place Thursday January 4th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral chapel; Reverend Danny Parsons, Chaplain for Wellspring Hospice will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park – Amherst Township.
