Carol C. Palermo, 86, Enjoyed Fishing, Gardening, Cooking, and Spending Time With Friends

Photo of Carol C. Palermo Carol C. Palermo (nee Pincura), age 86, of Lorain, sadly and peacefully passed away on the afternoon of Friday December 15, 2023.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.

The daughter of Louis and Mary (nee Pulcer) Pincura, Carol spent her free time at Pelee Island, Canada and the Villages, Florida where she enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending good times with her friends.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years Gerald R. Palermo, along with children Becky Walters (Frank), Michael Palermo (fiance Kari Phillips), and Karen Denman. She also leaves six grandsons along with three great grandchildren.

Carol was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

The Palermo Family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and caregivers at Lorain Estates Senior Living for the excellent and compassionate care they provided to Carol during her residency there.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel � 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Additional visitation will take place in St. Peter Parish � 3501 Oberlin Avenue on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Reverend Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor of the parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
