Frank Kazmierczak, 79, Owner of Kazmierczak Plumbing Co.

Frank Kazmierczak, 79, of Grafton died Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland following a brief illness.

He was born May 16, 1924 in Grafton and moved to Port Clinton on 1987. He returned to Grafton in 2002.

Mr. Kazmierczak was the owner-operator of Kazmierczak Plumbing Co. in Grafton for 38 years, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church, was a 1943 Grafton High School graduate, a WW II Army Veteran, a member of the Hinkson-Hysell Post 3341 V.F.W. in Grafton, and enjoyed gardening a woodworking.

Survivors include his daughter: Bethany Hunt of Greenwich, OH; sons: Russ and Kim, both of Grafton; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Eleanor Frabotta and Marjorie Poulson, both of Grafton, and Mary Jane Tomoko of Elyria.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years: Joyce L. (nee Trenchard); parents: Jack and Josephine Kazmierczak; and brothers: Chester, William, and Donald.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Bauer-Laubenthal Funeral Home, Chestnut Ridge Road at St. Rt. 57, Elyria. Services will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. John Seabold, pastor of Assumption Church, will officiate.

Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton where members of the Grafton V.F.W. will conduct full military honors.
