July 1, 2017 — The is seeking an agency or organization to help connect people who are homeless, and who have serious mental illnesses, including those with co-occurring substance use disorders, to community services.

This week, LCBMH issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for operating the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) program.

"Our goal is to reach all people within Lorain County who need the services provided by our network, even people who are difficult to reach," stated Dr. Blanche Dortch, LCBMH Community Services Director. "PATH workers go into the streets, go into the tent cities or remote areas where people without homes or resources are staying, and build relationships. They connect people with the right services to better their lives."

Entities that are interested in responding to the RFP must submit a letter of intent to LCBMH no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 7, 2017. Completed proposals are due July 28. Full details are available online at lcbmh.org/public-notices.
