August 1, 2013 — Subscription tickets are now on sale for the 2013-2014 Performing Artists Series season. This "groovy" set of six shows are once-in-a-lifetime experiences for the audience because they are live on stage. Stocker Arts Center provides the best of the arts at affordable ticket prices close to home.

For ticket information on any of the performances or to receive a season brochure, call the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040. The box office hours are Monday-Friday, 12-6 p.m. and one and a half hours prior to curtain time.

Subscriptions may be purchased at the Stocker box office from 12-6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.stockerartscenter.com.

Current six-show subscribers have until Friday, August 16 to renew their current seats, after which time any that are not renewed will be available for other subscribers to purchase.

Single tickets for all Performing Artists Series shows go on sale Monday, August 19. Tickets for most non-Performing Artists Series including Random Acts, Student Matinee, Stocker Cabaret shows and Fall Films are on sale now.

A Musical Tribute to Buddy Holly
New York City-based Todd Meredith and The Rave-Ons! have delighted audiences across the country with this high-energy musical tribute to the popular hits of Buddy Holly and the Crickets, including "Peggy Sue," "That'll Be the Day" and "Rave On." For the past four years, Todd Meredith has appeared nationally as Buddy Holly in tribute concerts and in "Buddy-The Buddy Holly Story." As The Rave-Ons! he is joined by fellow "Buddy" cast members Bill Morey on upright bass, Joe Cosmo Cogen on drums and Jeremy Renner on guitar. In the early 1960s some of the most iconic names in the history of popular music were discovered in the Motor City, better known as Motown. Masters of Motown is a celebration of these artists, their music and their style. The show features stylishly costumed, fully choreographed tributes to both male and female groups backed by a live band. Masters of Motown will take you on a stroll down memory lane as they perform the incredible harmonies and smooth moves made famous by some of the greatest recording acts of all-time - The Temptations, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes and more.
