September 19, 2018 — The and Friends of the Library groups of Avon, Columbia, Domonkas, Lorain and North Ridgeville announce the 2018 LPLS Writing Conference Saturday, October 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm. at the .

The featured speakers are Brian Klems, the senior online editor of WritersDigest.com, and literary agent Victoria Selvaggio.

Brian A. Klems is the senior online editor of WritersDigest.com. His blog, The Writer's Dig-which he founded in in 2011-covers everything about writing and publishing and is one of the most popular/visited blogs in the writing community. He's also a bestselling author, speaker, social media expert, and co-founder/co-host of The Writer's Market Podcast. Brian is a proud graduate of the Ohio University E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.

Victoria A. Selvaggio is a Literary Agent & Partner at Storm Literary Agency. Previously with The Jennifer De Chiara Literary Agency, she was drawn to the publishing scene first as an author. As a prior Regional Advisor for SCBWI: Northern Ohio, Victoria's desire to help writers and illustrators reach their publications goals inspired her to become an agent.
