Clem "Jack" Jones, Jr., 63, Ardent Harley Davidson Motorcycle Enthusiast

Photo of Clem Clem “Jack” Jones, Jr., age 63, of Sheffield Lake, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the emergency room of Mercy Health Lorain Hospital during the early morning hours of Tuesday April 9, 2024.

Following his death, Jack’s legacy continued as an organ and tissue donor.

Born in Cleveland on July 25, 1960 he attended Lincoln West High School. For more than twenty years he had been employed as an auto body technician for the Ganley Auto Group; he worked at the company’s Middleburgh Heights Lincoln franchise for many years prior to his retirement in July of 2023. He was affiliated with the national chapter of the International Association of Machinists.

A self taught artisan, Jack’s skill set in paint work and detailing were both profound and legendary. His client base was impressive and included a prominent array of Clevelanders including local celebrities and sports figures.

An ardent Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed spending any available free time in the saddle of his Harley.

He is survived by his daughter Angel Watkins (Brad) residing in Byesville, Ohio along with granddaughters Makayla, Ava, and Bristol. Additional survivors include his sister Shawnee Jones, brothers Larry Waddell, Kelly Waddell, and Earl Waddell, nieces Ashley Kerney and Kelly Stanek (Carrie), several great nieces and great nephews, as well as best friend Mark Davis (Tammy).

Jack was preceded in death by his wife Hali Jones, father Earl “Bird” Waddell, mother Barbara Jones, step-mother Darlene Waddell and brother Randy Waddell.

A celebration of Jack’s life is being planned and details regarding the time, date, and location of the event will be announced by the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel once arrangements have been finalized.
