John William Barlow II, 45, Avid Toy Collector
John William Barlow II, 45 of Middletown, Ohio, died in his home Friday, April 9, 2021 of natural causes.
He was born October 31, 1975 in Lorain, Ohio. John was a graduate of Lorain High School, he was a member of the choir, and played varsity football. John was employed by the family business, Great Lakes Maintenance in Middletown.
John was an avid toy collector and belonged to many collecting groups. He was an Ohio State fan and loved his Cleveland sports teams. John had many friends thru out the country and world. His generosity is remembered by many.
John is survived by his parents John and Marilyn (nee Garza) Barlow of Middletown; brother, Eric (Crystal Kidney) Barlow of Middletown; brother in law, Andrew Nowicki of Hamilton, Ohio and nieces, Courtney Pack, Kaitlyn Pack, and Christina Barlow all of Middletown.
John was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Barlow Nowicki in 2016; grandparents, William and Lilly Mae Barlow and Eliazar and Cornelia Garza
His family will receive friends at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Friday, April 16, 2021 from 4 PM until his funeral service at 7 PM. Deacon, Rocky Ortiz of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain will officiate.
The family suggests contributions should be made to his favorite charity, Toys for Tots.
