Brian T. Huston, 33, Avid Sports Fan

Photo of Brian T. Huston Brian T. Huston, 33, of New Albany, Ohio (formerly of Amherst) passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the Ohio State University Main Campus Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Elyria on April 16, 1983, the son of Robert T. and Carolyn A. (nee Howington) Huston, of Amherst. A 2001 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, he also studied computer science engineering at Lorain County Community College and The Ohio State University.

He was a Senior Analyst/Command Center Supervisor at Discover Financial Services in the New Albany office for the last 10 years. Nominated three times, in 2015 Brian was awarded the Discover President’s Award – the highest recognition an employee can attain. He received numerous awards for his outstanding work. Brian was admired and respected by his team members in New Albany, Chicago and India.

Brian was an avid sports fan - Ohio State football and the Cleveland Browns were his teams. He studied karate with his best friend Chris Constantino and earned a black belt in 2004. He loved animals and leaves his two dogs, Ava and Cassie, to mourn his
passing.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his twin sister Bethany L. Huston of Toledo; sister Melissa A. (Ryan) Brunner of Lorain; brother Thomas R. (Pamela) Huston of Amherst, 5 nieces and nephews and his maternal grandparents Bill and Josil Howington of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Howard & Shirley Huston.

Friends may call Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 10:00 am until a Celebration of His Life at 11:00 am in the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 515 Leavitt Road in Amherst led by the Rev. Jenni Walker Noyes, pastor. Burial in Brookdale Cemetery will be private.

Memorials may be made to the Brian T. Huston Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation of Lorain County, 9080 Leavitt Road, Elyria, OH 44035.
