Anna M. Christ, 87, Enjoyed Cooking and Baking
Anna M. Christ (nee Knezevich), 87, of Avon passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at the Good Samaritan Skilled Nursing Center, Avon following a six-month illness.Mrs. Christ was born November 10, 1914 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and moved to Avon 28 years ago coming from Sheffield Lake. She was employed as a factory worker and attended Holy Trinity Church in Avon. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was a Cleveland Indian's fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Zec of Cleveland and a son, Stephen Christ (Suzanne) of Avon; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Knezevich of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; a daughter, Eva Nekich; parents, Louie and Eva (nee Tomich) Knezevich; two brothers, Nick and Steve and two sisters, Mary and Amanda.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon from 4-9 p.m. Friday, October 25th . Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday, October 26th at 10:00 a.m. Fr. John Misenko, pastor of Holy Trinity Church, Avon will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
