Dorothy Tallman Wynn, 88, Enjoyed Music
Dorothy Tallman Wynn, 88 years old, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Monday, October 21, 2002 at Community Health Partners Hospital following a lingering illness.Born May 9, 1914 in Tower City, PA, she moved to the area in 1950.
She was a school teacher for the Sheffield Lake School System retiring in 1958 after 8 and � years of service. Prior to teaching for Sheffield Lake School System, she was a teacher in Pennsylvania for nine years.
Dorothy was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain and a member of the State Teachers Retirement System.
She enjoyed music.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Wynn in 1980 and one brother and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 13th at 11:00 a.m. at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6th and Washington Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Dr. Linwood H. Chamberlain Jr. and Rev. Jimmy W. Madsen, co-pastors will officiate.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Tower City, PA.
