Mary Louise Smosny, 70, Avid Bingo Player

Mary Louise Smosny, (nee Wellman), 70, of Lorain died Monday, April 16, 2001 at her residence following a six month illness.

Mrs. Smosny was born October 29, 1930 in Cleveland, living most of her life in the Lorain area.

She enjoyed and was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing and making crafts.

Survivors include daughters Michelle Smosny and Mrs. Robert S. (Linda) Montagu Sr., both of Lorain; sons Henry Smosny, Jr. of Garfield Heights, Allen Smosny of Cleveland, and Michael Smosny of Vermilion, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry L. Smosny, on September 14, 1991 and her parents Herman and Louise (nee Crome) Wellman.

Friends may call at Reidy-Scanlan-Chambers Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 1305 East Erie Avenue, Lorain with the Rev. Regis Schlagaheck, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
