July 7, 2014 — The is offering a service to make Lorain County restaurant-goers feel confident about safety when dining. The LCGHD has begun posting online restaurant inspection results at LorainCountyHealth.com. This service will provide timely public access to inspection results, complaints, and violations that put consumers at risk for food-borne illness.

"We hope that this new service will allow the public to feel confident about their safety when dining at Lorain County restaurants," stated David Covell, RS, MPH, and Health Commissioner of the LCGHD. "Whether a big name chain or your favorite local spot, you'll have fast access to food safety inspection results of all restaurants inspected by the LCGHD," added Covell.
