All Ohio Birth Records Now Available at Lorain City Health Department
January 16, 2011 — As of December 10, 2010, the City of Lorain Health Department was certified to issue State of Ohio birth records.
Prior to this, the Health Department was only allowed to issue birth certificate for individuals born in Lorain. Now the Health Department is allowed to issue birth certificates for any individual born in Ohio.
