April 19, 2018 — It may seem like spring is never going to show her beautiful face this year but the Good News is that you can see beautiful blooming flowers and more at the 14th annual Vermilion in Bloom (VIB) Gardeners Fair. The largest show in the group's history will be held at (Sailorway Drive & Route 60) on Saturday, April 28th from 9AM - 3PM.

At the VIB Gardeners Fair you can shop for flowers, plants, herbs, macrame plant holders, unique garden art, original art, handmade soaps, beautiful handmade jewelry and more. Get gardening tips from local growers who will be selling annual and perennial flowers. We welcome back Bissell's Greenhouse, Maggies Greenhouse, Uncle John's Plant Farm and new this year: Scanz Native Plants.

Local artists from the Vermilion Art Guild will have original paintings, photography, jewelry, floral and more for sale. And, local and regional artisans and businesses will have one-of-a-kind items including:

Foodies will love the VIB Cafe where you can take a shopping break and enjoy gourmet treats. There will be Live Music in the Cafe from 1-3pm featuring Sid Jordan and Sarah Jordan where you can also get a chair massage for a small fee.

A donation of your choice is requested at the door and the first 100 visitors will receive a gift from The Olive Scene. While supplies last the Vermilion Tree Commission will be giving away tree saplings along with growing advice. Raffle prizes include a unique children's airplane that can be pulled behind a lawn tractor and a beautiful window box created by the Chairmaker & Friends.

For an additional $20 donation to Vermilion in Bloom, you can choose a mystery gift valued at $20 or more from the popular gift trellis!

Looking for that perfect Mother's Day gift? There is something for everyone at the Vermilion in Bloom Gardeners Fair, April 28th at Sailorway Middle School, located at Route 60 and Sailorway Drive in Vermilion.

All Gardeners Fair proceeds support Vermilion in Bloom, a committee of Main Street Vermilion. VIB volunteers raise money to purchase flowers, plant and care for them during the season in gardens and hanging baskets.
