Old-Fashioned Holiday
Lorain County Metro Parks is pleased to present the annual Old-Fashioned Holiday at Mill Hollow’s Benjamin Bacon Museum and Carriage Barn on Saturday, December 5th from 4-8 p.m. and on Sunday, December 6th from 2-6 p.m. Both the Carriage Barn and the Benjamin Bacon Museum are located on the Mill Hollow side of the Vermilion River Reservation at 51211 North Ridge Rd., just 4 miles south of Vermilion.
Visitors are invited to step back to 1864 and join the “Bacon Family” and their “guests” of Brownhelm Hollow for a night of holiday fun. They will learn more about this area’s unique, historical past while exploring the sights, sounds, and fragrances of an old-fashioned holiday. They can enjoy a tour of the museum featuring re-enactors, take a horse-drawn carriage ride, and enjoy great live music and refreshments. With old-fashioned fun for any age and free admission, the Bacon family and their friends hope to see many celebrate the holidays with them!
Vermilion River Reservation is located at 51211 North Ridge Rd, Vermilion, Ohio. For more information on Mill Hollow’s Old-Fashioned Holiday, please contact Lindsay Miller at (440) 967-7310.
