Native American Harvest Celebration
Join the Simms, a local Lumbee family, as they share the traditions of cooking and dance at Vermilion River Reservation's Carriage barn on November 18 from 6-7:30 pm. Learn about typical food dishes and the ways in which they are prepared. Then learn about traditional dances including Hoop dancing. Audience participation encouraged! Light refreshments provided.
