Kids Workshop: Native American Tools and Technology

Mark Kollecker and Jim Bowers of the Cleveland Museum of Natural History conducts this HANDS-ON workshop at Vermilion River Reservation's Carriage Barn on Saturday, November 7 from 1-3 pm. Participants observe cordage making, finger weaving, learn how to make arrowheads, and try their hand at spear throwing with an ancient tool called an atlatl. Artifacts on display and you can even bring your own to be identified.
