Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Volunteers Needed

12/14 -- Last year, more than 70,000 Americans gave something to the IRS and can’t wait to do it again this year. What did they give? Their time. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program trains volunteers to prepare simple federal and state tax returns for low-income, elderly, individuals with disabilities and non-English speaking taxpayers. Tax returns are prepared at no cost and training is free.
