LORAIN COUNTY LOCAL RULES
61.1 Appraisers of Real Estate (Eff. 7-1-03)
For Probate Court purposes of appraising real estate, the fiduciary or commissioner may either:
- employ an appraiser experienced in appraising real estate in Lorain County; or
- use the Lorain County Auditor’s appraisal value of the premises.
In case of a dispute or for other purposes, the court may require a court-appointed appraiser for real estate.
