11/22 -- Between now and Friday, December 12, 2008, "Gold Country" WOBL AM 1320 (Website | Profile) and "Kool Kat Oldies" WDLW 1380 AM (Website | Profile) ask you to stop by our studios and drop off donations of brand new mittens, gloves, hats and scarves (for men, women and children) to decorate our Mitten Tree. All items will benefit the residents of Haven Center, Lorain County's only 24-hour year-round homeless shelter.

11/22 -- The Chess and Scrabble Club at the Grafton-Midview Public Library (Website | Profile) will not meet Saturday, December 13, 2008 as scheduled. We are looking for adult or older teen volunteers that would be interested in teaching chess to Library patrons of all ages. Chess and Scrabble Club meet every other Saturday in our Teen Zone.
