Jose Ariel Diaz, 45, Loving Uncle

He was born October 13, 1966 in Lorain. He was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Diaz worked for Precision Environmental, Co in Independence for 20 years. Prior to that, he worked as a welder for Invacare Corp. in Elyria. He was a member of Laborers International Union of America Local 310, Cleveland. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus in Lorain.
Ariel was a loving uncle who, helped raise his nieces and nephew. He was a Buckeyes, Browns and Indians fan.
He will dearly missed by his parents José R. and Gloria M.(née Ybarra)of Lorain; Sisters Charlena Meka Ybarra, and Delia M. Diaz both of Lorain; brothers José Bino(Edith) Diaz and Edgar Diaz both of Lorain; nieces Salena, Brittany, Cierra, Bailey and Alexia and a nephew Emmi.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Theodora and Emilio Ybarra and Silvestre Diaz and Evangelista Barrios.
His family will receive friends Thursday, January 26 from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, (440) 277-8164. Closing prayers will be Friday in the funeral home at 8:45 AM then Mass of the Resurrection at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend William A. Thaden, pastor will officiate.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
