Paul M. Kulyk, 79, Owner, Paul and Evelyn's Diner

Paul M. Kulyk, 79, of Elyria and formerly of Sheffield Lake passed away Sunday, October 20, 2002 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain.

He was born June 18, 1923 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania and moved to Elyria from Sheffield Lake five years ago.

He was the owner of Paula and Evelyn's Diner in Avon Lake, retiring in 1983. Customers at the diner will remember him often saying "Order what you want, eat what you get." Paul was a member of the Mid-Century Masonic Lodge No. 725, Avon Lake.

Mr. Kulyk is survived by a sister, Ann Yaramchuck of Fairmont, West Virginia; nieces, Cynthia Kulik and Christina Kulik; nephews Nick Yaramchuck, Jr. and Arthur Yaramchuck; great niece Audra Vinci and great nephew Thomas Vinci and sister-in-law, Joyce Kulik of Avon Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (nee Sage) ; two brothers, Demetro and Harry Kulik and his parents, Alex and Mary (nee Macksymovy) Kulik.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Beldon Road, Avon Lake, from 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday, October 24th , where the Mid-Century Lodge will conduct Masonic services at 7:30 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home, Friday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Timothy O'Connor will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
