Oberlin is still debating whether the pledge will be said. They tried to round up their "friends" which resulted in a weird group shouting things that made no sense, from the buddist who said just hearing the word god was offensive to the continuous rant of a woman who feels blacks should never say the pledge because of slavery. Wonder just how she defines liberty or justice, I doubt she knows. Wonder if any of them realize how offensive they are. A simple pledge policy where the pledge is said and those wishing not to are not forced to seems a reasonable answer for all, and then the school can get back to figuring out why it spends so much and the results are so poor.
