Lorain County Computer Users Group (

Profile) (
lccug.com) is presenting a free program on Windows 8 that has features and behaviors that seem to conspire to perplex even the most experienced PC users. Not all of them are bad, per se, but a few of them are immediately intuitive. Making matters worse, this OS was primarily designed for touch control, and as a result, many mouse and keyboard commands feel uncomfortable.
With the help of the LCCUG officers, we will discuss many of our favorite Windows 8 shortcuts, tricks, and workarounds. Many of the tricks focus on making the most of the OS on a traditional desktop PC using a keyboard. With our help and your input, this presentation should help make the transition to Windows 8 a little easier and fun.
Please join us for this interactive presentation on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Amherst Church of Nazarene (Profile) at 6:30 pm.
Everyone is invited. Doors open at 6 pm.
