ECBI Hosts First Student Artwork Comic Book Art Gallery

Elyria Comic Book Initiative (Website | Profile) would like to announce the first art gallery showing of its Comic Book Literacy Program. Students at Eastern Heights Middle School (Website | Profile) in Elyria just completed an after school workshop where they made their own comic books. Their theme was, "What if I were a Superhero!"
We are very proud to announce our first open house/gallery showcasing the students' cover art and final comics. Please check your calendars and plan to attend our event being held Tuesday, Dec. 1st, 2009 at the Eastern Heights Middle School Gym from 5 - 7 p.m. You are encouraged to bring your friends and family to recognize these students.
ECBI is a non-profit organization – and we are asking for a $3 donation at the door to support our efforts in the coming year. All students will be admitted free of charge
