At least five people, so far, are interested in filling an open seat on Lorain City Council.
Ward 8 Councilman Craig Snodgrass stepped down from the seat this week. He has been appointed interim Lorain County Auditor and has announced his intention to finish out the term of his former boss, Auditor Mark Stewart, who retired Dec. 31.
