Herman Seagers, of Lorain, was just trying to buy cigarettes early on New Year’s Day when he was fatally wounded by gunfire intended for someone else. Desmen Noble, 31, of Lorain was arrested on a murder warrant yesterday in connection with Seagers’ death, according to Lorain police.
