New website being developed
8/31 -- A new stand alone website for the Lorain Neighborhood Watch Program is in the works of being developed. The web address will be www.lorainnwp.com. Block Watch Captain Joyce Early, who is a web designer, is working to put this together. Eventually, the Lorain County.com come site will mostly likely be phased out. A test of this site will be on line fairly soon.

Neighborhood Blockwatch Captains Meeting
8/20 -- A meeting of all Block Watch Captains in the City of Lorain, has been called for on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 6:30pm at Lorain City Hall in the Police Training Room.The agenda is as follows:Update from Captain Jim McCann, Lorain Police Dept.Progress Report from members of the Ad Hoc Committee that has been working on a(SOP) Standard Operating Procedures Manual for the Neighborhood Watch Program in the City of Lorain. Also on efforts being made to develop a stand alone Lorain Neighborhood Watch website that will be very user friendly to all Captains. This committee will seek input on the plan development and website development so that all Captains can have a stake in the final document and website.Please get the word out about the meeting to any Captains who do not have email capability.Hope to see you there!

10/9 -- Just a reminder that the LNWC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 6:30pm at Lorain City Hall, Police Training Room. We encourage all Block Captains and Co-Captains to attend, as well as those desiring to initiate a blockwatch area for their neighborhood.
