                Location:    Put-In-Bay Island,    Put-In-Bay, Oh

                      Date:    Saturday, August 22nd   

    Check In / Start:    8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  check-in

                                   9:30 a.m. captains meeting/ Start after Meeting

                       Fees:   $200.00 per / Team   All Divisions   No Refunds one week prior to event

                  Format:    Co-Ed 6's GRASS (Also See Playing Time)

                                    (Min 2 women on court) 

              Alternates:   Alternates are free - however; if your team is in the prizes, we will only

                                            give  prizes for the original six.  If alternates want a t-shirt, they will have 

                                            to pay $15.00 extra to receive them.  

               Divisions:    Open, A, BB, B, C & "Rec"reational Divisions

                                     Note:     USAV Outdoor Rules Apply.   

                              

                                           However the "Rec" division is a beginners or "Fun Division" where the rules

                                           are relaxed.   So if your team is competitive to a point that you will be

                                           complaining about "Hands & Lifts" calls, then you need to register your 

                                           team in the competitive divisions - that would be C- Division all the way 

                                           up to "Open"

        Playing Time:    We will be shooting for 5 and 4 Team pools, that way all teams will have

                                           a standard of 8 games during pool play.  If you should get in a 4 team

                                           pool you will get 6 games of longer scoring.  We hope to avoid 6 team pools 

                                           as they just take too long to complete. 

                   Prizes:    T-Shirts For 1st & 2nd Place winners in all divs.  AVP Volleyballs,

                                  Towels, and more depending on  # of teams that register within each

                                  divisions.

  Pre-Registration     For teams arriving on or before Friday night, our staff will be at

     Party Check In:   (TBA -  )     and your are more then welcome to check your team

                                  in at that time.  If you have a waiver sheet filled out for the whole team

                                  and you hand it in.  You will be fully registered for the next day.  You

                                  still have to send a rep. the next morning to let us know your whole 

                                  team is there in full.

 

                                  We will then assign you to the field and possibly a net number and you

                                  may Avoid the check-in process the next morning.

                     Rules:    USAV Rules Apply - There WILL NOT be a girl hit rule.

  

                                            Important NEW Rule:  There will be No - Hard Cleated Shoes or Gulf Spikes to try and gain 

                                           an advantage.  Remember:  Even though the competition can get very escalated, many

                                           people are bare-footed and you could cause serious damage to someone's foot if you

                                           Should accidentally step on someone's foot or ankle.

                 Register:    ** YOU MAY REGISTER A TEAM(s) WITH OUT A TEAM WAIVER   

                                                         However; a team waiver must be signed by all participants of that team at

                                           Registration time.  You may mail, bring or fill one out at the Registration 

                                           Table when you arrive during check in.  To expedite check-in we recommend

                                           that you have one filled prior  to coming to the Registration Table
