Calling all Civil War history buffs! For a colorful presentation on Morgan’s Raiders’ foray into Ohio, visit the Keystone-LaGrange Community Library (Profile) on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at 7 p.m. Local resident and Civil War buff, Linn Keller, will relate Morgan’s Raiders entry into Southern Ohio. Mr. Keller, in period dress, will display and discuss exhibits from the era during his presentation.
Linn’s professional storytelling of Morgan’s Raiders has included presentations for the Lodi Historical Society and the N. Salem Historical Society. He has two family connections to Morgan’s Raiders from when they entered Perry County in 1863.
Mr. Keller, longtime LaGrange resident and lifelong Ohio resident, is active in many creative pastimes. Mr. Keller is a member of the Single Action Shooting Society, Firelands Peacemakers, and a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism. He reenacts, along with his wife, European history and history of the Old West.
