Knitting for a Cause

Ben Wharton, Luba's Blanket

Come have fun for a great cause. Luba's Blanket will be meeting on Friday, February 10, 2006 at Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 2238 East 32nd Street, Lorain, to continue to knit/crochet blankets and scarves for those less fortunate in Lorain County. We are a fledgling organization who could use a lot of hands. Feel free to bring friends. If you do not know how to knit/crochet, there will be someone there to teach you.

We have donated to "Knit for Katrina", Genesis House and we are working on blankets for homeless veterans in our area. All ages and skill levels welcome.
