Katrina Shelter Supply Drive

Rose Lener, Old Mason Animal Rescue of Ohio

Old Mason Animal Rescue of Ohio (OMAR), is teaming up with All Rover's Rescue Friends (ARRF) of Toledo, and Ohio Toy Breed Rescue of Akron to collect donations of cash and supplies for the Humane Society of Louisiana's emergency shelter in rural Tylerstown, Mississippi. Donation drop-oof locations are:

ELYRIA: MK Staffing/P.C.M.D. at 405 Cleveland St. (In the Convenience Food Mart plaza)

HURON: Front porch of 326 Ohio St. (across from McCormick Middle School).

If your business or organization would like to be a drop-off point for supply collection, please email Rose at rlener@omar.cc for more information.

Supplies Needed:

LARGER ITEMS:

• Morton or Barn type buildings


• Fencing materials


• Window unit Air Conditioners


• Refrigerator (Most vaccines need to be kept cold)


• Sheds (to store food for the animals)


• Cargo Vans, Mini Vans, P/U trucks with caps (great tax deduction for dealers)


• Gift cards for places like Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.


• Gift Cards for Gas
