Brief History:
The Lorain County Task Force for the Homeless was founded in 1989 to develop a regional network of organizations that would provide essential services to homeless persons, improve affordable housing options and access to these options, and educate the community about homelessness and affordable housing. Over the past 17 years, the Task Force has enhanced its original focus to become the county-wide agency that plans and coordinates all activities geared toward permanently ending homelessness.
