Elyria City Health Department has set the following dates and times for our 2009 flu clinics:

Seasonal flu vaccine:

• October 3, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at LCCC 1005 N. Abbe Rd. Both Drive-Thru and Walk-in clinics will be available. Adults only please if using the drive thru option.


• October 17, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Jude Church 590 Poplar St.


• November 5, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Midway Mall


• November 8, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elyria City Hall

Seasonal flu vaccine is $15.00 per shot, Medicare & Medicaid are accepted.

All clinics are subject to change or cancellation due to availability of vaccine. For further information, please call (440) 323-7595.

The Lorain County General Health District will be hosting Flu Shot Clinics at locations across the County, on the following dates and times:

• Lorain County Fairgrounds, 23000 Fairgrounds Dr. Wellington (Drive-thru service available for persons mobility-challenged)


• 10:00 - 6:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 41295 N. Ridge Rd., Elyria

Depending on vaccine delivery, Both Seasonal Flu and H1N1 vaccines are expected at the following clinics.

• Columbia Station Town Hall, 25496 Royalton Rd. 44028


• United Methodist Church, 105 West Main St., LaGrange


• New Russia Township Hall, 46268 Butternut Ridge Rd., Oberlin


• Lorain County Fairgrounds, 63000 Fairgrounds Dr., Wellington (Drive-thru service available for persons mobility-challenged)

• Marion L. Steele High School, 450 Washington St., Amherst


• Avon High School, 37545 Detroit Rd., Avon


• Midview Middle School, 37999 W. Capel Rd., Grafton


• North Ridgeville Education Center, 5490 Mills Creek Ln., North Ridgeville



The fee is $15.00 per shot and the H1N1 shot will be given at no cost. Medicare and Medicaid will be accepted and no one is refused due to an inability to pay.
Individuals with any special medical conditions or concerns should talk with their doctor before getting a flu shot.
