Eaton Township Meet the Candidates Night
Maggie Kelch, Ross Environmental Services, Inc.

October 17, 2009 -- The Eaton Township (Website | Profile) Business Roundtable is a group of local business owners/managers who have organized to stay informed about events and issues in the community and to positively contribute to the local community. We are hosting a Meet the Candidates Night to enable local residents to learn more about the candidates for Eaton Township Trustee so that they can make an informed decision when they go to the polls in November.

The Meet the Candidates Night will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium building at the Christian Community School, 35716 Royalton Road. All of the candidates for Eaton Township Trustee have been invited to participate.

Candidates will present information on their qualifications and answer two questions that are being provided in advance. After presenting their views on those two questions, the candidates will then receive questions from the moderator that will be provided by the audience in writing prior to the start of the meeting. The moderator will read the questions and allow each candidate 2 minutes to respond. This is not a debate or a Town Hall forum so there will not be audience participation. The purpose of the evening is to enable local residents to learn more about each of the candidates in an organized and friendly environment in which everyone can hear the candidates' responses to questions.

The Meet the Candidates Night is a free non-partisan forum, open to the public. Come and learn more about the candidates, their qualifications and their views on Eaton Township and the challenges facing the community.
