Hello. I just want to let you all know about a young boy from our community. He was recently diagnosed with a life threatening disease known as HLH. It is a blood disorder that attacks the immune system similar to the way Leukemia does. And is treated like Leukemia. We have begun to organize a benefit to raise funds for him and his family for medical expenses and other expenses incurred due to travel for his medical care. He is currently undergoing Chemotherapy and is on several medications. All of which is costing the family hundreds of dollars every week just in co-pays alone.
