| Why would
you like to be elected? |
| Public service has always been an important part of my professional career. Having served on the Lorain Port Authority, the Lorain Civil Service Commission, and as a YMCA coach, the position of Law Director is another opportunity for me to engage in public service. Giving back to my community is very important to me. |
| What
would you like to accomplish if elected? |
The Law Department presents a unique challenge. Coming from a private practice background, reorganizing the office and making it run more like a private practice is one of my major goals. More importantly, achieving a true attorney-client relationship with the elected officials and department heads (the clients) based on trust and confidence is the ultimate goal.

| How do
you think Internet technology will impact government services? |
An effective and competent legal practice is built upon information and data systems. These systems have and will continue to greatly impact the performance and delivery of legal service in the Law Department.
|
| What
one bit of information do people not normally know about you? |
“Patrick Dawson Michael Riley” was raised in an Italian household.
