I have been happily married to my wife for 15 years and have a 5 year old daughter that is the center of our lives.

Why would you like to be elected?
Avon faces several important issues over the next few years. How those issues are managed will shape our city for generations. I believe that my strong business background, negotiation skills and practial approach will be an asset to Avon. I truly feel I can make a positive impact.

What would you like to accomplish if elected?
I will get involved with the implementation of the I90/Nagel Road interchange and help wherever I can (assuming its final approval). As I mentioned on my website at the beginning of my campaign, This interchange will greatly improve traffic for Avon (as well as surrounding communities) and will provide new business and jobs for the area. Making sure it is done properly with the best interests of our residents in mind will benefit all.

One of my platform issues from the beginning of the campaign has been to improve the overall traffic conditions in our city. We have many problem areas in Avon that need to be addressed immediately. I will make it a priority to help get the proper research done and find solutions to the problem areas, and work to help plan for the future so our city is safe for all.

The City of Avon is growing fast and has approximately 50% of our land available for development. No matter how you feel about this issue, we have a very attractive city and growth is coming. How that development is managed will affect our city generations. I will work to make sure that growth is managed properly and adheres to the master plan so that Avon residents have the service that want and need and can maintain our great quality of life.

How do you think Internet technology will impact government services?
I think it could be a great asset to residents if implemented properly. I am a huge fan of making things easier. I have a website that I will keep up after the election to help keep residents informed. I think it is a great place to get information fast.

What one bit of information do people not normally know about you?
I studied music in college and every year I go back to Ohio University and march in the homecoming parade with the alumni band! It takes several days to recover. I am not as limber as I used to be!
