| Why would
you like to be elected? |
| As an active participant in numerous community organizations in a leadership capacity, I have been able to keep abreast of a variety of "quality of life" issues within our city which helps me make qualified and informed decisions as a member of Council. The details of my involvement in these organizations has proven that I am someone that "gets things done". I believe that residents should expect straigh-forward communication from their elected officials, and I have helped many citizens cut through the "red tape" of city government. I listen to residents concerns, and act accordingly. |
| What
would you like to accomplish if elected? |
| I am a strong believer in making sure that we remain fiscally responsible and forward thinking at the same time. While we continue to experience tremendous growth, our city services and infrastructure have not increased at the same pace. We need to develop definite appropiate plans for our infrastructure to include adequate stormwater management, road resurfacing and repair, and true business development. In addition, our current residents should not have to bear the burden of paying for all of the improvements to our infrastructure, and I have recommended that impact fees specific to certain aspects of our infrastructure be enacted. |
| How do
you think Internet technology will impact government services? |
| We must continue to utilize internet technology to integrate government into the 21st century. We will be able to save money and other valuable resources by enabling our residents and businesses the alternative of accessing our services via the internet and other alternative sources. |
| What
one bit of information do people not normally know about you? |
| I perform presentations for community organizations as Mark Twain. |
