Why would you like to be elected?
I want to be re-elected so that I may continue to serve the families and children of this community as I have been doing, with positive results for more than eleven years.

What would you like to accomplish if elected?
If re-elected I would like to continue to bring innovative programs to our community such as drug court and truancy court,to continue to reduce the
incidence of juvenile crime as I have been doing; to continue to work with children and families in crisis and to continue to treat fairly those who appear in my court without regard to political affiliation.

How do you think Internet technology will impact government services?
Internet techology has a significant impact upon government services. As the co-chair of the Ohio Supreme Court privacy subcommittee, I have been working for the past three years on the issue of protecting the rights of litigants to have personal matters remain personal while at the same time protecting the publics right to have access to court information. This issue has become significant in the Court system as a result of technology and the ease by which individuals can access information. The delivery of government
services must consider those competing interests and achieve an appropriate balance.

What one bit of information do people not normally know about you?
I initiated the recent change in our court structure which has created a Unified Family Court, which has increased the efficiency of our court system, provides for our customers an easier system to navigate through and saves Lorain County taxpayers over one million dollars.
