| None currently. I am looking into voluntering at EMH though. | Why would
you like to be elected? |
| I feel that the people aren't being fairly represented. Just look at a few of the closed door activities such as the airport purchase, the quarries, and recently the YMCA ordeal. Honestly, I feel that being an elected official means to represent those who elect you. This means properly informing them and asking their opinions on the matter. I am definately a firm believer in an open door policy. I am only one person, there is no possible way I can fathom coming up with 280,000 ideas on my own. That’s why your opinions matter to me. Another issue I'd like to address is the sales tax. If elected I will fight to keep that where it is or if possible to lower it. In part, by keeping it lower than the surrounding counties we are enticing people to buy big ticket items here and to shop here more often. Lets keep this county great and make it stronger in the future. |

would you like to accomplish if elected? |
| Fighting future raises on the sales tax. Involving the public more in county issues. If possible, bring back public forum at the commissioner's meetings. I just get discouraged seeing a lot of ayes and seconds with very little discussion. Someone has to have an opinion on something. I would really like to work with state and federal government agencies to help find solutions to the lack of higher paying, stable, long term jobs. This county has an amazing work-force and I'd like to seem them proudly working again. |

you think Internet technology will impact government services? |
| Technology is a beautiful thing. I feel it will make information on issues readily available to even the most novice user. In part, that is a great thing because it is reaching more people and making it readily accessible at all hours of the day. |

one bit of information do people not normally know about you? |
