Curator-Led Tour: FRONT at Oberlin

Tour three exhibitions commissioned by FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art with Andrea Gyorody, the AMAM's Ellen Johnson '33 Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art. The tour starts at 1:15 p.m. at the Allen Memorial Art Museum, proceeds to the Richard D. Baron '64 Art Gallery, and concludes at 3:45 p.m. at the Weltzheimer/Johnson House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Shuttle service will be provided between venues. Capacity is limited; spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Free.

The Allen Memorial Art Museum, 87 North Main St., Oberlin, presents a First Thursday talk by Barbara Bloom at 5:45 p.m. The New York-based artist discusses her AMAM installation commissioned by the FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art. A reception follows Bloom's talk and galleries remain open until 7:30 p.m. for viewing of several new fall exhibitions. Free to the public.

The Weltzheimer/Johnson House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright offers docent-led tours on the first Sunday of the month, April through November, at noon, 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m. Admission to the house is $5 per adult and pre-registration is required.
