Oberlin Public Library Upcoming Events

June 15, 2012 — Stop by to take part in their great upcoming events: Unraveling Stories: Quilts as a Reflection of Our Lives, Fate's Awake, Gayle Pritchard, author of Uncommon Threads: Ohio's Art Quilt, Beginners Knitting and Own the Library.

June 20th: Unraveling Stories: Quilts as a Reflection of Our Lives is an award winning PBS documentary. There will be a screening and lecture by the videographer, Luanne Bole-Becker at the Oberlin Public Library at 6:30pm. All library programs are free and open to the public.

June 22nd: Come see local band, Fate's Awake, rock out on the library's patio. This free concert will begin at 4:00pm. Oberlin Public Library is located at 65 S. Main Street in Oberlin!

June 26th:Gayle Pritchard, author of Uncommon Threads: Ohio's Art Quilt will present a lecture and book signing at the Oberlin Public Library at 6:30pm. There will be books available for purchase.

June 24th: Want to learn how to knit? Oberlin Public Library presents Beginners Knitting with Holly Whiteside from 2-4pm. Holly will teach basic knitting to help set you on the path to becoming masters of the needle. If you do not have your own materials, they will be provided.

June 28th: Oberlin Public Library's Young Adult Summer Reading Program presents Own the Library, a Young Adult lock-in from 6-10pm. Stay with us after hours in the special summer event. There will be gaming, pizza, soda, popcorn and a special showing of "The Goonies"!
