County Engineer's Office Receives Federal Grant

Elyria- Ken Carney announced today that his office has applied for and received approval of a 90% Federal grant for a sign inventory on Township roads. Carney has been notified that his application for a CEAO HSIP Safety Study for a sign inventory has been approved. The grant will allow for inventory all existing signs on Township roads in the County, which will provide for recommendation on improvements to signage. The estimated cost to perform the inventory and study is $24,794.00, with the grant being $22,315.00 or 90% of the cost.

Mastermind Systems will perform the work under this grant for the amount of $24,794.00. ODOT and the County Prosecutor have approved the Contract.
