Below is a brief bio about each of the four owners of Posh a Salon:
Lindsay Geary:
Lindsay Geary has been a stylist for 5 years now. Growing up in Vermilion, Ohio she was born and raised in a hair salon. Her mom, also a hair stylist who is now one of her business partners, knew she would always follow the family trend of being in the hair industry. She was born to do hair! Lindsay attended Ehove Joint Vocational School and following school interned at a few salons to start the beginning of her career. Her goal was to make her way to the bigger salons and spas and eventually after learning from those experiences one day open a salon of her own.
Posh Salon has been a dream of Lindsay’s. She makes sure she keeps herself very educated on all the new trends and techniques coming around, they’re always changing and you can never be “over educated.” Lindsay specializes in color, cutting, and updos. She loves to be creative and make people feel good about their new look!
Lindsay and her husband just celebrated their third wedding anniversary. They have two dogs, which they love spoiling and spending time with. Lindsay and her husband can’t wait to see what the future brings to the salon and just want to see it grow with time!
Cyndi Klosterman:
Cyndi Klosterman is from Avon Lake, Ohio and has been a hairstylist for 25 years. She managed a salon and spa for 16 years and realized it was time for her to go out and pursue her passion in hair. Cyndi has had some great education through out the years, she has not only attended the Ohio hair shows, but she has made her way to New York and Chicago for some great classes and training. She has also had the great opportunity to travel to Europe and study hair. Cyndi studied with Tony and Guy in Europe which is a major icon in the hair industry. It was a lifetime experience that helped her grow into a stronger hairstylist. Cyndi is certified in updos, which is one of her favorite things to do as a stylist. She was also part of the television show Makeover Story.
Cyndi is so happy to be working in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. She feels it’s important to have fun while doing something she loves to do. Cyndi feels doing hair is not a job, it’s a hobby. Along with her other 3 partners, Cyndi can’t wait to see Posh grow in the future!
Laurie Martin:
Laurie has been a hairdresser for 28 years. She was born and raised in Vermilion, Ohio and owned a salon for 18 years in Vermilion. She also worked in Westlake for a Salon and Spa for three years after selling her salon in Vermilion. Laurie then decided to purchase and run a salon in Longboat Key, Florida for three years after leaving the salon in Westlake. She recently moved back to Vermilion after purchasing her third salon at Posh, a Salon.
Laurie has two children, a daughter and a son. She loves that she has had the to opportunity to move back to Ohio to open a salon with her daughter and two friends. She's been happily married for 25 years to her high school sweetheart.
Renee Willoughby:
From Cleveland's morning exchange to working hair shows in Chicago, Renee has always taught her fellow stylists the most important thing besides being simply the best, is client satisfaction. She honestly believes if you understand your clients, their needs, communicate well with them and personalize their cuts and services to suit their lifestyles, you as a stylist will always be creative and they will walk out of your salon confident and satisfied. She focuses on her clients by projecting energy, offering solutions to their concerns and giving them a new, creative fashion, which all enable the client to have fun.
Over her 19 years as a professional stylists, her only form of advertising, and what she feels is most important, is satisfied clients leaving the salon with smiles on their faces.
