County Animals Rescue and Evacuation (CARE) of Lorain, Medina and Summit counties are here to provide emergency asistance for all animals during a disaster. We are a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that responds under the direction of our local Emergency Management Agencies (FEMA), and our county's American Red Cross.

The members of CARE are the primary first responders to disaster incidents. These incidents would include fires, tornados, flooding, hazardous material spills and any other disaster requiring an evacuation.
